Our History

		In March 1997, according to the divine will of God, Wind of the Spirit Worship Center Foursquare Church was birthed. God called Pastor Michael Edwards to be the shepherd with his wife and confidante, Sherrie, by his side. Under their leadership, Wind of the Spirit Worship Center is a growing ministry "Preparing to see the glory of the Lord in the 21st Century." The Pastor and First Lady have a God-inspired vision to see the Wind of the Spirit church family equipped unto every good work.
		OUR VISION: Reaching Our World Through Prepared People OUR MISSION: To preach, practice, and propagate the will of God through biblical principles; reaching and equipping people for today while preparing people for tomorrow. FIVE-FOLD PURPOSE:
Worship - Expressions of love and adoration, honor and obedience
Service - Identifying and servicing the needs inside and outside
Fellowship - Creating opportunities for building and enriching relationships
Discipleship - Developing in Christlike character and actions
Evangelism - Going, reaching, proclaiming, demonstrating "the good news" of Jesus Christ
